Privacy policy
In short: CDRN works without an account, does not measure its audience, displays no advertising, loads no resources from any third-party service and neither sells nor transfers any data. The only data processed are those required for the tools to work, described below.

Cookies and browser storage
The site sets two cookies, both first-party and used solely for the site to work:
FAVORITE_TOOLS: the list of tools you have added to your favourites, kept for one year;LAST_USE: the tools you opened most recently, so they can be shown to you first, kept for one year.
Your browser also keeps, in local storage, whether each menu category is expanded or collapsed, and a copy of the site's pages and files so that it remains usable offline.
None of this is used to track you or passed on to a third party. As these cookies are strictly necessary for the service you request, they do not require your consent. You can delete them at any time from your browser settings: you will simply lose your favourites and your tool history.
Data entered in the tools
Some tools run entirely in your browser. The others send your input to the server, which computes the result and sends it back to you. This input is neither stored nor logged: it is processed in memory, and any temporary files (for example to produce a PDF) are deleted as soon as the result is ready.
Share links
When you create a share link, the shared result is kept on the server for the period you choose (one, two or seven days), then deleted. A “single-use” link is deleted as soon as it is first opened. Anyone who has the link can view its content until it expires: only share what you are willing to pass on.
Server logs
Like any web server, the CDRN server logs every request: IP address, date, address of the page requested, response code and browser used. These logs are used solely for the security of the site and for troubleshooting, on the basis of the publisher's legitimate interest. They are neither combined with other data nor passed on to a third party. They are split into one file per day, and each file is automatically deleted after 30 days.
API
To limit the number of API calls, the server counts the calls from each IP address over a rolling one-minute window. This counter is not kept any longer than that.
Data hosting
The data described above remain on the site's servers, in France: in Gespunsart (Ardennes) with ARDNTECH and in Roubaix with OVH (see the legal notice). None of it is transferred outside the European Union.
Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the French loi Informatique et Libertés (Data Protection Act), you have the right to access, rectify and erase the data concerning you, to restrict its processing and to object to it. Write to contact@ardn.tech to exercise these rights. If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
